Nintendo has announced both a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase and an Indie World Showcase for tomorrow, August 27, at 7am PT/10am ET.

The Indie World Showcase will kick off the back-to-back presentations and will be followed by the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase. While Nintendo didn't share which games will be featured, it did confirm the livestream of both will last "roughly 40 minutes in total."

Furthermore, Nintendo also stated that "there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during either of these presentations."

The last Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase took place in February 2024 and highlighted games from Nintendo's publishing and development partners. Some of the highlights included Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, Grounded and Pentiment as the first Xbox first-party games to come to Switch, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, and much more.

The last Indie World Showcase aired in April 2024 and featured such titles as Steamworld Heist 2, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, Europa, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, Animal Well, Another Crab's Treasure, and more.

As for the successor to the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo itself has signaled that fans shouldn't expect it before April 2025. Will we get some tease of it before the end of the year? Only time will tell.

Who knows? Maybe Hollow Knight: Silksong will finally show its face and help with the wait! We can dream! What are you most excited about for tomorrow? Let us know below!
