Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Prismatic Evolutions looks set to become one of the most highly anticipated and popular sets in the series. Featuring Eevee and its beloved “Eeveelutions,” this collection promises to stand out in the Scarlet and Violet lineup. Many are already comparing its potential popularity to the elusive 151 set.
For dedicated collectors, preordering is the best way to secure sealed products and avoid the frustration of limited restocks that plagued the 151 set. Here’s what’s currently available for preorder at Best Buy and GameStop.
Eevee and its "Eeveelutions" are set to take the spotlight, though details on the set remain under wraps until its Japan release in December 2024. What we do know is exciting: for the first time, Poké Ball and Master Ball reverse holos will be available in Western sets. The Master Ball reverse holo variant, already incredibly rare in Japan’s 151 set, will be a collector’s gem, so be sure to save space in your binder.
Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Glaceon, Leafeon, Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon will all feature as Stellar Terastalization ex rares, with each Eeveelution joined by a charming Eevee full-art promo card in the Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box.
All in all, it's going to be a great set and not one to be missed. Don't want to miss out on Pokémon TCG bargains? Our dedicated deals page makes sure trainers don't miss a beat!
In other TCG news, according to estimates from Appmagic reported on by mobilegamer.biz, Pokémon TCG Pocket is earning around $3 million a day, making over $12 million in just four days.
That’s more than the eternally popular Pokémon Go is currently making on app stores, according to estimates ($1 million every day). If Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket keeps that revenue pace up, it’ll make over $1 billion a year.
